Well, the new look of the site is up. Sadly, it’s not very functional yet (ie, all the interactive stuff, the user login, music player, etc, is all in development), but the back end is getting built while we tweak the current look of the site. Anyway, thanks for stopping by, hopefully we’ll have real content on here soon!

A HUGE thank you from evensplit.org to the New Jersey Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts and the fine folks at Lowenstein Sandler PC. We were seeking qualified lawyers to help us get our paperwork in order, and thanks to the support of these two incredible groups, we’ve gotten so many i’s dotted and t’s crossed, we’re finally in good shape submit for nonprofit status with the IRS.

Well, everything’s moving along smoothly here at EvenSplit HQ. The backend’s in development, the frontend’s in development, legal and accounting are all getting rolling, and we’ve got a new logo to unvail! Tada! Many thanks to Mark Woerde and the team at Lemz!
Well, if you’re going to push a website, I guess you need a website. Welcome to the latest incarnation of a placeholder EvenSplit.org as we work behind the scenes coding the actual EvenSplit.org. This looks a bit more like …but not quite … what we intend the actual site to look like.
We’re still a little preoccupied with the building process but we should start blogging soon about where we’re at, as well as other great things we’ve found on the web since embarking on this project. And, we’re still on track for some sort of beta-testing in the winter, so check back soon!
Working from different sides of the globe and different timezones, the EvenSplit.org team is continuing work on the effort. We’re currently building the actual service side from the ground up and burying ourselves in paperwork. The next couple months should be a bit quiet as we do a lot of work on the back-end, but expect a flurry of site changes and beta testing sometime in fall/winter of this year!
